Woman dies after childbirth 11 years into marriage

A Bangladeshi mother has lost her son, who was conceived via IVF, just over eight months after his birth. Farzana Islam named her Facebook account “Tajim’s Mommy” after her son, Faiyaj Hassan Tajim, was born following 11 years of marriage. Tajim died on April 22, aged eight months and 18 days. The child was born to Farzana Islam and Helal Bhuiyan using the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) method.
