The X-Forces Association said that while Bangladesh is moving towards strengthening its foreign policy on national interest, sovereignty and ‘Bangladesh First’ principles and taking steps to make the armed forces modern and up-to-date, there is continuous misleading and targeted propaganda.

The organization alleges that a group has been active in trying to destabilize the Bangladesh Air Force since its modernization program, purchase of fighter jets and technology-based defense capabilities came to the fore.

The organization alleged that some online portals and social media are spreading false and intentional information about former Minister of State for Defense and Advisor to X-Forces Association AKM Shamsul Islam. They believe that these activities can have a negative impact not only against individuals, but also against state institutions and national stability.

The X-Forces Association urged the countrymen to be wary of rumors and misinformation. Everyone should be aware of protecting the dignity of state institutions. At the same time, the country’s sovereignty and national interests are called to be united.
