In her post, the actress stated, “If the same intensity of protest, anger, and discussion that I observed in the last 24 hours regarding others’ private lives were shown for the increasing incidents of rape, or for the more than 50,000 children affected by measles and over 400 child deaths, then the country and nation would truly benefit.” Her statement underscored a call for greater societal consciousness and a reevaluation of collective priorities.
