Prothom Alo Launches Podcast Series Spotlighting Women Leaders and Trailblazers

Prothom Alo has launched a new podcast series titled “TaHer Kotha,” a platform dedicated to highlighting the struggles, achievements, and leadership journeys of inspirational women across various sectors in Bangladesh. The program aims to explore the untold stories of women who have shaped their fields through perseverance and vision.
The 10-episode series premieres this Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on the media outlet’s digital platforms. Following the debut, new episodes will be released fortnightly on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The podcast is hosted by Professor Mohammad Ridwanul Haq of the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Dhaka.

The inaugural episode features acclaimed Rabindra Sangeet exponent and Chhayanaut senior teacher Aditi Mohsin. The discussion delves into the transformative power of music as a vehicle for a woman’s voice, examining how individual expression can resonate within a family, society, and the nation at large.
Professor Haq noted that the series is designed to go beyond traditional success stories. He emphasized that the guests will share the unfiltered realities of their journeys, including the challenges, decision-making processes, and pivotal moments that defined their personal and professional growth. He expressed confidence that the program will serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation while fostering more meaningful discourse regarding the role and leadership of women in society.

Future episodes will feature a diverse group of prominent figures, including Independence Award-winning table tennis champion Zobera Rahman Linu, Ekushey Padak-winning dancer and Nrityanchal founder Shamim Ara Nipa, and Sabeera Mehreen Saba, the founder and CEO of Wonder Woman.
