A crowd of curious people to see ‘Donald Trump’ in pink color

In view of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha, a pink colored buffalo has now become the center of attraction in a farm in Narayanganj. The albino buffalo weighing about 700 kg has been named ‘Donald Trump’.
It has been seen on the surface, in Rabeya Agro Farm of Paikpara area of Narayanganj city, this exceptional pink buffalo is seen along with various types of cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep and other sacrificial animals. A three-and-a-half-year-old albino breed of buffalo has relatively large head hair. Farmers named him ‘Donald Trump’. The movement of the buffalo also has a royal air.

The farm authorities said that the buffalo was bought from the Rajshahi City Livestock Market a month after Eid al-Adha last year. Since then the farm is being reared with special care. The buffalo has already been sold as live weight to a buyer in Dhaka at Tk 550 per kg. The buyer will take the buffalo before Eid-ul-Azha.
Zia Uddin Mridha, the owner of the farm, told Prothom Alo, “We have named him Donald Trump because the hair on the front of the buffalo’s head is very similar to Donald Trump’s.” As attractive as it is to look, the temperament is also calm. It is an albino breed of buffalo. This type of buffalo is generally calm in nature. If not provoked, does not easily behave aggressively.

Due to its exceptional name and pink color, people of all ages flock to the farm every day to see the buffalo. Milan Mia, a resident of Paikpara area of the city, said, ‘People are coming from different places to see only Donald Trump. We have also come to see. Another visitor Sultana Akhter said, the buffalo looks very beautiful. The hair is similar to that of US President Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump” is taken special care of, said Kausar Mia, caretaker of the farm. He is given food at two times a day. The diet consists of corn, soybeans, chickpeas, wheat bran, sesame seeds, rice husks, hay and green grass. Apart from this, regular maintenance is also being done to keep health.
According to the sources of Rabeya Agro Farm, about 200 animals have been prepared in their farm on the occasion of Qurbani Eid. But the center of everyone’s interest is now the pink buffalo ‘Donald Trump’. Every day, many curious people flock to the farm just to have a glimpse. At present the exceptional buffalo has become a topic of discussion.
In this regard, the district livestock officer Abdul Mannan told Prothom Alo, “The demand for sacrificial animals in the district is 1 lakh 3 thousand. 1 lakh 13 thousand animals are ready for sacrifice in 6 thousand 535 farms. I heard that a pink colored albino buffalo in a farm has been named after Donald Trump.’
