Five more children died in the country in the last 24 hours (Sunday 8 am to Monday 8 am) due to measles and measles symptoms. Among them, one child was diagnosed with measles. Four children had symptoms of measles.

At this time, the Department of Health has given the information about the symptoms of measles in the body of 1 thousand 358 children across the country. The child died in Sylhet after being diagnosed with measles. And one child each in Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet died of measles symptoms.

This information has been reported in the Measles Report of the Department of Health on Monday.

Since March 15, 220 children have died due to measles in the country. During this period, 44 children died after the detection of measles.

At this time, 22 thousand 442 children were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of measles. However, 19 thousand 18 children have recovered from the hospital and returned home.

The Department of Health has also mentioned that 4,693 children have been diagnosed with measles since March 15.
