Tollywood star Jeet denies involvement in postponement of Devs film Bike Ambulance Dada

Tollywood superstar Jeet is set to headline the upcoming release of his film “Keu Bole Biplobi Keu Bole Dakat,” scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, August 14. The film’s arrival has generated significant anticipation among Bengali cinema enthusiasts, though it has also sparked speculation regarding the sudden absence of a highly anticipated box office clash.

The film “Bike Ambulance Dada,” starring fellow superstar Dev, was originally slated for release on the same date. However, the production was postponed at the last minute, leading to widespread rumors that the two actors had reached a mutual agreement to avoid competing for the same audience.

Addressing the speculation in a recent interview, Jeet denied any involvement in the decision to reschedule Dev’s film. He stated that the reasons for the shift remain between Dev and the production house, Nandi Movies. Jeet emphasized that he had no communication with Dev or the production team regarding the scheduling, asserting that he was not a party to the decision-making process.

Despite a fierce professional rivalry often reflected in the competitive box office climate of the Bengali film industry, both actors are known for maintaining a strictly professional distance. While their respective fan bases frequently engage in heated exchanges on social media, the actors have consistently maintained that there is no personal animosity between them, nor a close personal friendship.

The two superstars last shared the screen in 2010 in Raj Chakraborty’s film “Dui Prithibi.” Both have previously indicated an openness to collaborating again should they encounter a compelling script.

For his part, Dev addressed the delay in early July via a post on Instagram. He noted that every project has its own timeline and stated that the release of “Bike Ambulance Dada” was postponed to ensure the film reaches audiences in the best possible manner. He thanked his fans for their patience and trust, promising that the movie will be released in the near future.
