His marital journey began in 1987 with Richa Sharma, and their union brought forth a daughter, Trishala. However, this period of happiness was cut short when Richa Sharma tragically succumbed to a brain tumor in 1996.
Despite the profound personal loss, Dutt’s romantic life soon saw a new chapter. Following Richa’s death, the actor was reportedly involved with a foreign woman, marking the beginning of a pattern of diverse romantic liaisons that often became subjects of public discussion.

Two years after Richa’s passing, Dutt married Rhea Pillai in 1998. Yet, even this marriage did not curtail his romantic pursuits. Concurrently, a “mysterious woman” named Nadia also held a significant place in his life during this period.
The complexity of Dutt’s relationship with Nadia was underscored in 2002 when he travelled to the United States for a week-long shoot for his film ‘Kaante’ without informing her. Undeterred, Nadia reportedly followed him across continents, appearing unannounced on the set in America and surprising the actor. This dramatic and tumultuous relationship, however, eventually came to an end like many others.
