Sangeet is very sick, everyone pray: Omar Sani

As always, this year’s Pahela Baisakh celebrations were in a festive mood across the country. Concerts and music events have been organized in various parts of the country including Dhaka. However, many netizens have been seen criticizing some of the programs on social media, alleging that they were not performing well and that the presentation was indecent. 

Criticism has poured in on this matter in the voice of Omar Sani, a famous film actor. Recently, the actor questioned the quality of music on his verified Facebook account and wrote, “Today I heard sick music in a few places. Sangeet is in a very sick condition, everyone pray.’

This status of Omar Sani has already given rise to many discussions on social media. In the comment room of that status, many agreed with his statement and expressed disappointment with the quality of some of the current concerts. 

In that post, Omar Sani tagged singer Dinat Jahan Munni and actress Rumana Islam Mukti. Musician Dinat Jahan Munni addressed Omar Sunny as Jijo (brother-in-law) and commented on the status, ‘Rabindra Sangeet/Najrul Sangeet/Band Sangeet/Adhunik Sangeet/Lalan Sangeet but I heard ‘Sick Sangeet’ first! Jijo, this sick music is organized by the ICU party.
