The actor’s management firm, Shengshi Guangnian Culture Co. Ltd., confirmed his passing in an official statement released on Saturday, stating that he died at his home in Hangzhou, Jiangxi province, on June 4.

Born Zhang Jiawei on January 30, 1993, in Weihai, Shandong province, the actor had built a significant following before his untimely death. While his agency acknowledged the loss, they did not disclose a specific cause of death. In its statement, the firm lauded him as a remarkably talented performer and model, extending its deepest condolences to his family and those mourning his sudden departure.
