Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi and actress Shraddha Kapoor are freed from the drug trap. Even though drug charges were brought against them, they are going to be released as no evidence was found in the investigation.
Earlier on August 22, Mumbai Police arrested Mohammad Salim Mohammad Sohail Sheikh on charges of drug trafficking. At that time, drugs worth Rs 1 lakh 19 thousand were seized from him. When he was interrogated at that time, he told about supplying drugs to various parties, where the names of several acquaintances came up. Names of actress Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, actor Siddhant Kapoor and politician Zeeshan Siddiqui come up.
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor and actress Nora Fatehi were interrogated as part of the investigation in 2025. However, the involvement could not be confirmed as no evidence was found against them in the investigation.
Bollywood actresses Shraddha and Nora got news of relief in that discussed drug case. Preparations are underway to drop their names in the case as the Mumbai police investigation did not find any evidence against them.
According to a source, investigations by the Crime Branch and Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police have revealed that no concrete evidence has been found against the stars involved in the case in question. Investigation is in final stage and supplementary charge sheet will be filed soon.
Also, social media personality Orhan Awatramani, actor Siddhant Kapoor and politician Zeeshan Siddique may also be acquitted in the supplementary chargesheet. Some of the arrested accused and fugitives will be charged, but the stars are not named.
