Death in a terrible road accident, the work of Prabhas’s ‘Fauji’ movie has been suspended

There is a shadow of grief on the sets of Pan India star Prabhas’ big budget movie ‘Fauji’. A member of the film’s production unit has lost his life and five others have been seriously injured in a tragic road accident on the outskirts of Hyderabad.  

The accident took place in Abdullahpurmet area on the outskirts of Hyderabad when a film crew was on its way to Ramoji Film City for a scheduled shoot in the early hours of Tuesday (May 5). 

The intensity of the clash was so high that one died on the spot. Emergency services personnel quickly reached the spot and rescued the remaining five people and admitted them to a nearby hospital. Currently, the injured are undergoing treatment there. 

The CEO of the film production company Maitri Movie Makers said a few days ago that about 80 percent of the project has already been completed. The rest of the 20 percent shoot was very important, including Prabhas’ three large-scale action scenes. But due to the current situation, this big schedule has been put on hold for the time being. 

The makers were quite embarrassed when some pictures and videos of the movie sets and Prabhas’ look were leaked on the internet. It was strictly informed by the production company that legal action will be taken against those who are spreading these pictures. Team ‘Fauji’ was trying to maintain secrecy to surprise the audience.

Despite the temporary interruption of work due to the accident, the builders are trying to move forward with their predetermined goals. The movie is slated to release on the occasion of Dussehra festival in October 2026. 

Newcomer Immanvi is making her film debut opposite Prabhas. Also starring legendary actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in important roles.

This is going to be Prabhas’ second big release after ‘The Raja Saab’ in 2026. But currently the entire unit is waiting for the dead personnel to get over their grief and the injured to recover.
