Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit Expands Real Estate Portfolio with Strategic Mumbai Property Deals

Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit has further solidified her presence in the Mumbai real estate market, demonstrating a keen aptitude for property investment that mirrors her success on screen. According to data from the real estate analytics firm CRE Matrix, the actress recently offloaded a significant commercial property in Andheri West for a substantial profit, marking another strategic move in her long-standing portfolio management.

The office space, which spans 1,594 square feet and includes three parking bays, was originally purchased by Dixit approximately 18 years ago for 5.25 million rupees. The property has since been acquired by Frames Production Company Private Limited at a significantly higher valuation, underscoring the actress’s ability to capitalize on the city’s soaring property values. Records indicate that approximately 3 million rupees were paid in stamp duty to finalize the transfer of the asset.

This transaction follows a series of calculated real estate maneuvers by Dixit and her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene. In December of last year, the couple sold an apartment in the upscale Juhu neighborhood for 39 million rupees. Expanding her commercial footprint further, the actress also secured a lease for a 731-square-foot office space in the One Lodha Palace development in Lower Parel this past March, committing to a five-year tenure.

While Dixit continues to balance her business ventures with her artistic career, her recent foray into the property market stands in contrast to a quieter period in her professional film life. Her most recent project, the film “Ma Bahen,” debuted on Netflix this June to favorable critical reception, though it failed to achieve significant box office traction. As details regarding her upcoming acting projects remain scarce, the veteran star’s latest real estate deal serves as a reminder of her strategic influence beyond the Bollywood limelight.
