Actor Ilias Kanchan to Return to London for Continued Medical Treatment

Renowned Bangladeshi actor Ilias Kanchan is set to return to London on August 12 for follow-up medical treatment, despite recent signs of improvement in his condition. The veteran actor, who arrived back in Dhaka this past Monday after undergoing more than 15 months of intensive care in the United Kingdom, is continuing his recovery under the guidance of his international medical team.
Fellow actress Rozina confirmed the scheduled return after visiting Kanchan at his residence in Gulshan. While noting that the actor has not yet achieved a full recovery, she expressed optimism about his progress and confirmed that he remains under the constant care of his wife, Farida, along with his children and son-in-law.
Kanchan arrived at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on August 3, accompanied by his wife and son-in-law. During a brief interaction with reporters at the airport’s VIP terminal, the actor expressed gratitude for his safe return and asked for the continued prayers and support of the public as he continues his health journey.
