Social Media Influencer Shreya Kalra Wins Lock Upp Season 2

Social media influencer Shreya Kalra has been crowned the winner of the second season of the Netflix reality series “Lock Upp,” securing the championship title along with a cash prize of 10 million rupees. Her victory marks the culmination of a grueling season defined by strategic gameplay and a steadfast refusal to yield under intense scrutiny.
Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on January 14, 1997, Kalra holds an MBA and initially rose to prominence on TikTok through her viral dance and lip-sync performances. Following the platform’s ban in India, she successfully transitioned her influence to Instagram and YouTube, cementing her status as a formidable digital creator. Her pivot to mainstream television began in 2020 as a wildcard contestant on “MTV Roadies Revolution,” which served as a springboard for her subsequent work in music videos, digital hosting alongside Munawar Faruqui on “The Society Season 2,” and leading her own podcast, “Don’t Spill Too Much.”
Kalra’s tenure on “Lock Upp” was characterized by high-stakes challenges and frequent interpersonal volatility. Throughout the competition, she faced significant opposition from fellow contestants, including Shivangi Joshi, Akanksha Chaudhry, Yogesh Rawat, Harshad Chopda, and Shilpa Shetty. The atmosphere within the house turned particularly hostile following a controversy involving the disclosure of private information regarding Akanksha Chamola. Despite becoming a lightning rod for criticism and facing collective isolation from her housemates, Kalra remained committed to her tactical approach, maintaining her focus until the final round.
