Jagannath University will find irregularities in recruitment and promotion for 16 years

In Jagannath University, there has been a committee to investigate the irregularities and corruption in the appointment and promotion of teachers, officers and employees in the last 16 years. The university administration has formed this investigation committee to look into the allegations of irregularities and nepotism in the recruitment, upgradation and pay grade of teachers and staff from 2009 to 2024.

Today, Tuesday, University Registrar (Acting) Professor Md. This information was informed in a notification signed by Sheikh Ghiyas Uddin.

According to the notification, this investigation committee has been constituted in the light of the decision of the 111th meeting of the Syndicate of the University. Retired Senior District and Sessions Judge. Saifuzzaman Hero has been assigned the responsibility of conducting the investigation.

According to the notification, the investigating officer will start his duties from today. He has to submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor of the University within three months after reviewing all the relevant information.

A room has been allocated on the second floor of the university administration building for conducting the investigation. He can interrogate any person or officer concerned for the purpose of investigation. All departments, departments and institutes of the university have been directed to provide necessary information and documents to the inquiry officer.

Mohammad Moshirul Islam, deputy registrar of the university, has been given responsibility for overall cooperation in the investigation process.
