Students of Jagannath University have started returning home on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacation. To facilitate the Eid journey of the students, 10 special buses left the campus for the seven divisions of the country on the initiative of the university administration, Jagannath University Students’ Union (Jaksu) and Chhatra Dal on Friday morning.

According to university sources, this special bus service has been arranged for the students of Chittagong, Rangpur, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions. There has been great enthusiasm among the students for this initiative of the administration to avoid the additional fare and ticket crisis in public transport. However, as the number of seats in the bus is limited, many people were seen traveling standing up.
