Real Madrid in new fear before Bayern match

Real Madrid lost 2-1 against Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu in the UEFA Champions League last week. Kylian Mbappe’s lone goal kept them in contention as the Spanish giants’ hopes of reaching the next round of the Champions League were not over yet.

But the injury of this important player of the team has created some anxiety in the Real Madrid camp.

The two teams will meet again in the second leg of the quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday. Being behind 2-1 in the first leg, the pressure is on Real. Mbappe could not participate in the team’s last practice before such an important match.

He was injured in the last match against Girona in La Liga. During the match, he was hit in the face by an elbow from an opponent’s defender. Although it was not clear on TV, later pictures showed blood oozing from his right eyebrow.

Mbappe himself shared a photo of the injury on social media, showing a large cut over his eye.
