Prime Minister Tareq Rahman inaugurated the National Startup and Entrepreneurship Platform on Tuesday, marking a strategic move to integrate youth innovation and creativity into the country’s mainstream development agenda. The launch took place at Dhaka University during a special event themed “Youth, Startups, and a Promising Bangladesh,” held at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban under the slogan, “Building the Country Through Startups, Bangladesh First.”

The initiative, organized by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division in collaboration with Dhaka University, seeks to provide a digital launchpad for aspiring entrepreneurs. According to the event organizers, the platform is designed to streamline access to government support programs, professional training, mentorship, and investment opportunities. By consolidating these services into a single hub, the government aims to foster meaningful connections between startups and established partner organizations.
