US President Donald Trump Expresses Desire to Meet Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

United States President Donald Trump has expressed his intention to hold a face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the near future. The President conveyed this message in a letter sent to the Prime Minister on Monday, August 31.
The information was confirmed by Atikur Rahman Ruman, the Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister.
In his correspondence, President Trump stated his firm belief that despite various challenges, Bangladesh and its people have a bright future under the leadership of Tarique Rahman. He also extended his sincere greetings and best wishes to the citizens of Bangladesh.
Furthermore, President Trump thanked the Prime Minister for the decision to purchase Boeing aircraft from the United States. He assured the Prime Minister that the aircraft would meet expectations and noted that he would remain mindful of the Prime Minister’s personal attention to the procurement process.
