United States President Donald Trump has expressed his intention to meet with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the near future. The development was confirmed by Atiqur Rahman Ruman, the Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, on Monday, August 31.
In a formal letter dispatched to the Prime Minister, President Trump stated his expectation for an upcoming face-to-face meeting. The American leader noted that despite existing challenges, Bangladesh maintains a promising future under the leadership of Prime Minister Rahman.
Addressing bilateral economic cooperation, President Trump thanked the Prime Minister for the decision to procure Boeing aircraft for Bangladesh. He further assured the Prime Minister that the company would remain committed to meeting the nation’s expectations.
