Two youths died after losing control of their motorcycle and hitting the road divider in Thakurgaon. This accident happened on Wednesday morning.
The two deceased are Ritvik Roy (25) son of Rishikesh Roy of Mathurapur village of Sadar Upazila and Abdul Mannan son of the same village. Ashiq (25). They were two friends.

According to eyewitness sources, Ritvik and Ashiq were going towards the city from Thakurgaon Road on a motorcycle around six o’clock this morning. The driver lost control of the motorcycle while taking a turn in Munsirhat area on the way. At that time the motorcycle hit the road divider. Hrithik died on the spot. Local residents rescued Ashiq with serious injuries and took him to Thakurgaon 250-bed General Hospital. Later he died there.
Eyewitness of the accident. Kamruzzaman said, the motorcycle was crossing the intersection at excessive speed. At that time the driver lost control.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station Monir Hossain said that after the legal process, the bodies of the two victims will be handed over to their families.
