A container full of cotton fell on the lorry standing in Sitakunda of Chittagong. The assistant sitting next to the driver’s seat of the lorry. Yasin (25) was crushed. Yasin was trapped below the waist under the heavy container. He was screaming for his life. An initial attempt to lift the container with a crane could not be lifted. Later, a heavy crane was brought and the container was removed an hour after the accident and Yasin was rescued with serious injuries.

The accident took place on the Dhaka-bound lane in the Modern Pylon area of ​​Salimpur Union, Sitakunda, Chittagong, on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway at around 3:30 on Wednesday. Later the police members of Akbarshah police station of CMP recovered the two cars involved in the accident and took them away.

The driver was fanning him through the opening of the Hridiya lorry. At that time, local people tried to remove the container by bringing a light crane in the presence of the police but failed. Eyewitness said. Mahbub told Prothom Alo that a covered van came at a high speed and took a U-turn in that area. At that time, the cotton container lorry was going towards Dhaka. The lorry braked quickly after seeing the U-turn covered van swerving in front. The container fell on another lorry standing on the side of the road. Yasin was inside that lorry.
