Returning to the school after 21 months, the head teacher sat in prostration on the field

After a long wait of 21 months, the humiliation and uncertainty ended, the head teacher Kabir Hossain finally returned to his workplace, Nikardighi Nandula High School, Panchbibi Upazila, Joypurhat. On Thursday morning, he returned to the school premises and sat in prostration in the school grounds, thanking Allah.
Kabir Hossain had to stay away for 21 months from the school where every brick and stone of the school was once associated with the memories of his life. He was thrilled to return to his favorite workplace. Many of the teachers and students present at the school and many of the local residents witnessed the emotional moment.
Earlier, after the fall of the Awami League government in 2024, the local residents accused the head teacher Kabir Hossain of various irregularities and corruption, including embezzlement of half a million rupees from the school. At one stage, complaints were made against him in various departments. He was temporarily dismissed in the face of fire from local people in the area.
On condition of anonymity, an assistant teacher of the school said, “There was an uncomfortable situation in the school for a long time. Today we feel relieved that sir is back. He was always sincere in the development of the school. At that time, Sir became a victim of the mob
Kabir Hossain said, “I could not come to school for 21 months because I was a victim of the mob. I came to school again today. I am very happy to join. It seems that I have returned to my place again.
PanchBB Upazila Secondary Education Officer. Tofazzal Hossain said that after August 5, 2024, Kabir Hossain, the head teacher of Nikardighi Nandula High School, was forcibly suspended. His salary was stopped for several months. Later, his salary was regularized on the instructions of the Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education. The allegations against him have not been proved. Because of this he was ordered to join the school.
