Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the significant loss of life caused by devastating floods in Nepal.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, the Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah and the people of Nepal on behalf of the government and citizens of Bangladesh.
In his message, the Prime Minister stated that he is deeply saddened and pained by the tragic loss of life resulting from the catastrophic flooding. He extended his thoughts and prayers to the families who have lost their loved ones and are enduring irreparable loss.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Bangladesh stands by Nepal during this difficult crisis. He affirmed that the government of Bangladesh is prepared to provide any necessary assistance required by Nepal to navigate the disaster.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed profound sympathy for the bereaved families.
