Death of 6th class girl due to electrocution while charging mobile phone in Noakhali

A schoolgirl died of electrocution while charging her mobile phone in Companiganj upazila of Noakhali. Her name is Guest Rani Dash (13). The incident took place at Bhuban Bari area of Ward No. 6 of Charofkira Union of the upazila at around 10 pm yesterday.
Guest Rani Das is the daughter of Gopal Chandra Das of that area. She was a sixth standard student of the local Charafkira High School. Charafkira Union Parishad (UP) Acting Chairman Mizanur Rahman confirmed his death.
UP Chairman Mizanur Rahman said that the girl was accidentally electrocuted while charging her mobile phone at night. At this time, he fell on the floor of the room. He died on the way to Upazila Health Complex after being rescued by family members.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Companiganj Police Station Nurul Hakim told Prothom Alo, “The police visited the scene after receiving the news. A wrongful death case has been filed in this incident.
