The four-day Police Week-2026 is starting tomorrow Sunday with a colorful event under the theme ‘My Police, My Country, Bangladesh First’. Prime Minister Tariq Rahman will inaugurate Police Week at Rajarbagh Police Lines ground at 9 am as the chief guest.

According to police headquarters sources, Prime Minister Tariq Rahman will inspect and salute the impressive, well-ordered and spectacular parade of police contingents and flag bearers at Rajarbagh Police Lines ground in this biggest annual event of the police force. Later he will give an orientation speech to the policemen.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Hasan Mohammad Nacher Rikabdar will lead the annual police parade as captain. Policemen of various contingents will participate in the parade under his leadership. The annual police parade will be attended by Ministers, Members of Parliament, Inspector General of Police (IGP), foreign diplomats, Additional IGPs, Commissioners of Police of all Metropolitan Police, Range Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), District Superintendents of Police and city dignitaries.
