‘Celebrity Archive: Eid Extended’ begins at Dhaka Regency

The three-day ‘Celebrity Archive: Eid Extended’ is starting tomorrow Sunday at Dhaka Regency. During this time, the exhibition and sale of the collection of celebrity archives will continue. This event will be open for everyone from 4 pm to 11 pm every day.
Earlier, a different event ‘Celebrity Archive: Eid Festival 2026’ was held on May 19 and 20 in Alok of Dhaka. Where the visitors saw a unique combination of fashion, culture and awareness.

Four presenters—Neel Hurejahan, Sonia Rifat, Archie Rahman and Mousumi Mou—organized this exceptional initiative centered around the recycling of the clothes of stars from different fields of the country or ‘Rewear Revolution’.
The event brought together 36 stars of the country with their used clothes and collections, which were opened to the general public. The aim was only one—fashion is nothing new; Rather, recycling favorite clothes can also be part of a responsible and stylish culture.

Throughout the two days, Aloki became the heart of conscious fashion lovers. The videos of the event went ‘viral’ on social media. Apart from the visitors and media persons, the stars were also impressed by the positive response of the entire event.
The event featured two special panel discussions on ‘Influence with Intention: Fashion, Culture and Responsibility’. On the first day actress Parsa Ivana and fashion designer Tanha Sheikh and on the second day actress Nazifa Tushi and sustainable fashion designer Afsana Ferdowsi participated in the discussion. Both discussions were moderated by Neel Hurejahan.
There was also a special event to present the traditional weaving and jamdani industry of Bengal to the new generation. Live handloom was introduced at the beginning of the event. Over two days, weavers complete a Jamdani veil in front of visitors. At the closing moment, dancer Pooja Sengupta along with the organizers formally completed the weaving process by cutting the veil from the loom.
This live experience creates different emotions in the visitors. From common people to celebrities, they are fascinated to see the fine art of jamdani making. Actor Tausif Mahbub, Miss World Bangladesh fame Jannatul Ferdous Oishi and actress Nazifa Tushi also took part in the handloom weaving experience.
The second day started with a performance by the band Avoid Rafa. In the evening, the visiting visitors enjoyed the performance of vocalist Mejbah Bappi.
Apart from this, about 80 stalls of entrepreneurs and different brands made the entire event one of the meeting places of Eid events.
In view of the success of this program and the positive response of the audience, the initiative was taken to organize a three-day long ‘Celebrity Archive: Eid Extended’.
