Accused of rape of girl in Sylhet, arrest 2

An allegation of rape of a girl (16) has been found in Ghopal area of Sylhet Sadar Upazila. After receiving the information, the police arrested the two accused after Friday evening.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (Media). Manjurul Alam told Prothom Alo that the victim girl has been sent to One Stop Crisis Center (OCC) of Osmani Medical College Hospital for treatment and necessary tests. Police are seriously investigating the incident.

According to the police, some local people arrested two people on the charge of raping the girl on Friday night. Later they informed the police. On receiving the information, the police arrested the accused Salman Shah (32) and Ali Hossain and brought them to the police station. The incident is now under investigation. Legal action is under process in this regard.
