12 victims of the ‘push in’ attempt spent the night near the finish line of Kushtia

12 women, children and men were the victims of the push-in attempt, who spent the night near the Zero Line of Pragpur border in Daulatpur Upazila of Kushtia. Even after 29 hours, there has been no resolution about them. The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) called for a flag meeting several times, but the Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) did not respond.
In this regard, Pragpur Company Commander of BGB Subedar Asaduzzaman told Prothom Alo at 8:00 am on Saturday, those 12 Indians are still sitting in Patkhet alley within 50 yards of the zero line. They spent the night there. A flag meeting is scheduled today. Let’s see what happens. The time of the flag meeting was scheduled twice yesterday on Friday. But BSF did not respond to it.

BGB says that their members are on alert at the border. There, on the banks of the Mathabhanga river on the Bangladesh side, local residents are also helping to prevent push-in.
BSF tried to push 12 people into Bangladesh through Pragpur border of Daulatpur Upazila of Kushtia at five o’clock yesterday morning. But that attempt was resisted by BGB and local people.
