12 hours after giving an emotional post on Facebook, the hanging body of the young man was recovered

The hanging body of a young man named Tamim Sheikh (18) was found in Gazipur’s Sreepur 12 hours after posting an emotional post on Facebook. The police recovered his body from his father’s autorickshaw garage in Mauna Dakshinpara area of the upazila on Thursday morning.
Tamim Mauna is the son of Rukon Uddin from Dakshinpara area. Two years ago, Tamim passed SSC from Haji Chhota Kalim School and College, Sripur. Then he worked in a battery shop. Besides, he used to come to his father’s auto rickshaw garage and help with the work.
According to family and local sources, Tamim woke up early this morning and went to his father’s garage and helped take out the autorickshaw. Then went to a nearby shop and had breakfast. Around eight in the morning, he received a call on his mobile phone. After a while, his body was found hanging inside the garage.
Relatives said that Tamim was having a relationship with a girl for a few days. A look at Tamim’s Facebook profile shows that he made a post about 12 hours before the body was recovered. There he shared the video on a Facebook page. The thumbnail of the video read, ‘Every girl in the world is unfaithful.’
Relatives said that Tamim liked a girl. With the consent of the two families, they were supposed to get married after the upcoming Eid al-Adha. They don’t know if there was a dispute between them recently. Tamim was released on bail in a case about two months ago. He said that he was depressed and mentally anxious since he was released from prison.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station Mohammad Nashir Ahmad said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving information. The body was recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy. Legal action will be taken in view of the investigation.
