Recently, in an interview, he surprised the netizens by commenting on Bollywood producer Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Alia Bhatt. Meera has dismissed the allegations of beating and control brought against Mahesh Bhatt in the past.

While promoting her new project ‘Psycho’, Meera said that she was very sad that her work was not released in India. However, he believes that both Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt would have been very happy to see this work. 

Reminiscing, Meera said, ‘When I stayed at their house, Alia used to sleep with me. They would definitely call me if they saw this movie.

Praising current star actress Alia Bhatt, Meera said, Alia was very talented and intelligent from childhood and was very good in studies.

Meanwhile, a few years ago Meera had alleged that Mahesh Bhatt physically and mentally abused her and slapped her several times. The Pakistani actress even claimed that Bhatt tried to control her. 

But in a recent interview, Meera denied the whole thing and said that nothing like that happened and Mahesh Bhatt is a very talented director. He also expressed interest in working with him again.

It is to be noted that in 2005, Meera made her debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Najjar’ written by Mahesh Bhatt and directed by Soni Razdan. Later, when charges were brought against Mahesh Bhatt, both Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt denied it and threatened legal action.
