US rapper Offset has been released from hospital after being shot in Florida. He is currently healthy and said to be slowly on the road to recovery.
In a message on social media, Offset expressed his gratitude to fans, saying he is now focusing on family, wellness and getting back to music.

In a statement given to US media Variety, his spokesperson said, Offset is now able to walk. He expressed his gratitude to the doctors, nurses and the entire team of the hospital.
The rapper was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Monday. He was admitted to the hospital immediately after the incident.
That same night, another rapper, Lil TJ, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Broward County Jail. He was released the next day.
