Priyanka Chopra’s suggestion left AAP and BJP!

Ever since Raghav officially joined the BJP on April 24, various rumors were heard. However, this time former legislator of Punjab Navjot Kaur Sidhu claimed in a podcast interview that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was the main architect behind Raghav’s political change.

According to Navjot Kaur Sidhu, when the Aam Aadmi Party’s relationship with Raghav Chadha began to deteriorate, his wife and actress Parineeti Chopra became very worried. 

There were apprehensions that Raghav might be expelled from the party and then he would have to face central investigating agencies like ED or CBI.

Sidhu claimed that Priyanka used her personal influence to talk to top BJP leaders and arrange a political safe haven for Raghav Chadha.

He further claimed that Arvind Kejriwal suddenly stopped criticizing Raghav after learning about this compromise. Raghav himself understood that ‘up’ would throw him out, so he ensured contact with BJP through Priyanka in advance.

Navjot Kaur Sidhu also questioned Raghav Chadha’s political integrity during the podcast. He said in an aggressive manner, ‘After enjoying all the benefits of power for so long, now he (Raghav) is talking big. If something had to be said, it should have been said two years ago. 

He termed Raghav’s long silence and sudden change of party as a ‘big political game’.

It may be noted that Raghav Chadha left the Aam Aadmi Party and formally joined the BJP on April 24, signaling a major change in the equation in Punjab and Delhi politics. Meanwhile, Sidhu’s claim further fueled the controversy.
