Nachiketa and Joy Shahriar to Headline London Mega Concert in August

Renowned Indian singer Nachiketa Chakraborty and Bangladeshi artist Joy Shahriar are set to reunite on the international stage, headlining a high-profile concert in London. The collaboration, part of an event titled “Mega Concert 2026,” is organized by ION TV and scheduled to take place at the Royal Regency in London on August 23.
The announcement follows recent speculation regarding a new joint project between the two musicians, fueled by images of a meeting in Kolkata shared by Shahriar on social media. The duo shares a long-standing creative relationship, having previously collaborated on several musical projects, including their seven-track duet album “Tathagata,” released in September 2024 with music composed by Shahriar.
Beyond their studio work, the pair has frequently appeared together on stage in Dhaka. Their upcoming appearance in the United Kingdom marks a significant expansion of their partnership, moving their joint performances from regional venues to a major international platform.
Shahriar confirmed the upcoming event on social media late Monday, inviting the Bangladeshi diaspora in the U.K. to attend. The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from fans, who noted that large-scale performances featuring such a cross-border artistic pairing remain a rare occurrence on foreign stages.
