HSC Examinee Killed in Crane Collision While En Route to Test Center in Chittagong

An 18-year-old student, Nafisa Nawal, was killed in a road accident on Saturday morning while traveling to her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in the Patenga area of Chittagong.
The victim, a student of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) School and College, was struck by a crane near the Navy Hospital gate. She resided in the Asmat Ali house area of Kathgar in Patenga and was the daughter of Mamun Miah and Mukta Begum.
Nurul Alam, in-charge of the Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost, confirmed the fatality. He stated that the student sustained critical injuries after being hit by the crane while en route to her examination center. She was rushed to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared her dead at approximately 9:50 a.m.
The HSC examinations in Chittagong had previously faced disruptions, with 32 subjects postponed due to flooding. These rescheduled examinations resumed this past Thursday. The student was heading to her Information and Communication Technology examination at the time of the incident.
