Ousted NCP Leader Targeted by Student Protesters Outside Bogra Court

Members of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatradal staged a protest in Bogura on Wednesday, hurling eggs at a former National Citizens Party (NCP) official as he was being escorted to prison. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the premises of the Bogura Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
The target of the demonstration was Gazi Salauddin Tanvir, who was recently dismissed from his position within the NCP. According to Bogura court inspector Shahidul Islam, Tanvir was brought before the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Mehedi Hasan for a scheduled hearing.
Following the conclusion of the legal proceedings, the presiding magistrate ordered that Tanvir be remanded into custody. As authorities attempted to transport him from the courtroom to the jail, the protesting student activists directed eggs toward him, creating a volatile scene within the court complex.
