TRNB Elects New Executive Committee for 2026-2028 Term

The Telecom and Technology Reporters Network Bangladesh (TRNB) has elected its new executive committee during a biennial general meeting held last Thursday at a hotel in Cox’s Bazar. The formation of the new leadership team marks a transition for the organization, which serves as the primary body for journalists covering the nation’s telecommunications and technology sectors.
The newly elected executive members tasked with overseeing the organization’s operations include Samir Kumar Dey, a senior reporter at The Daily Ittefaq; Mahmudul Hasan, a staff reporter for The Daily Star; and Shuvo Khan, a senior reporter at Somoy Television.
This incoming committee is scheduled to hold office for a two-year tenure, spanning from August 2026 through July 2028. The details regarding the election and the composition of the new body were confirmed through a formal press release issued by the organization.
