Farhin Receives Numerous Pakistani Dresses From In-Laws

Dhaka, Bangladesh — Popular actress Tasnia Farin recently shared insights into her unique approach to Eid celebrations, revealing a preference for showering family and close friends with gifts over personal shopping. She also disclosed a personal struggle with the sensory experience of Eid al-Adha, commonly known as Qurbani Eid.
In a recent interview, Farin explained that while she once indulged in extensive shopping, she has significantly scaled back personal purchases due to an already abundant wardrobe. Her focus has shifted to her loved ones.
“I rarely buy much for myself during Eid,” Farin stated. “My priority is usually buying for my family. Qurbani Eid, in particular, revolves more around purchasing cattle, so clothes shopping is comparatively less. Still, I always try to buy something for those closest to me.”
The actress also touched upon gifts from her in-laws, noting a consistent trend. “My in-laws frequently gift me Pakistani lawn dresses,” she remarked, adding, “It seems they’ve found a good gift option for me.”
Despite the festive atmosphere, Farin admitted she struggles to fully enjoy Qurbani Eid due to her heightened sense of smell. “I am very smell-sensitive,” she explained. “Because of this, I tend to stay indoors during the main day of Qurbani and the day after, venturing out very little.”
However, Farin ensures she upholds the social traditions of the holiday. Her Eid days are typically spent visiting relatives, distributing sacrificial meat, and preparing meals for guests, maintaining the communal spirit of the occasion.
