In Dinajpur dacoity case, accused volunteers and 6 leaders-activists of Chhatra Dal expelled.

Six leaders and workers of Swachhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal have been expelled from the organization after allegations of robbery of around 180 gold by holding a businessman hostage in Birampur, Dinajpur. This information was given in three separate notices signed by Raju Munshi, joint convener of Swachhasebak Dal Dinajpur district branch and Raihan Ali, organizing secretary of Chhatra Dal district branch, on Tuesday night.
The expelled persons are the joint convenor of Birampur municipal branch of Svechasevak Dal. Aashiq; Rakibul Hasan, joint convener of Chhatra Dal’s Birampur municipal branch and member Sagar Rahman; Birampur Government College Branch Chhatra Dal worker Al Rehman, Md. Sunny and Ariful Islam.
Earlier on Monday evening, a gold trader was held hostage by showing indigenous weapons on the Dinajpur-Gobindganj regional highway in Durgapur area of Birampur upazila. Later the gold was looted from him. Police arrested Ashiq, Sagar, Al Rehman and Ariful in this incident.
In this incident yesterday afternoon, a case of robbery was registered against three or four unidentified persons in the Birampur police station. Later, the police arrested four people in the case. That day at noon they were sent to jail by the court.
The separate notice of expulsion mentions, in view of the complaint of violation of party discipline, the joint convener of Birampur municipal branch of the volunteer party. Aashiq; Rakibul Hasan, joint convener of Chhatra Dal’s Birampur municipal branch and member Sagar Rahman; Chhatra Dal Birampur Government College Branch worker Al Rehman, Md. Sunny and Ariful Islam were expelled from all levels including their primary membership.
