Sanju Samson Named ICC Player of the Month for March Following Stellar World Cup Performance

Indian cricketer Sanju Samson has been recognized as the ICC Player of the Month for March, a reward for his exceptional performances during the recently concluded T20 World Cup.

Samson expressed his elation at the honor, stating, “Receiving the ICC Player of the Month award is an incredible feeling. I was fortunate to contribute to our T20 World Cup victory, and I am proud to have been a part of that winning campaign.”

He further elaborated on the positive trajectory of Indian cricket, highlighting the abundance of talent within the squad. “The Indian cricket team is experiencing a remarkable period. During the T20 World Cup, Samson narrowly missed a century against the West Indies, scoring 97 runs. He continued his impressive form in the semi-final, where he recorded 89 runs, and replicated that score in the final match. Across the tournament, he amassed a total of 275 runs.
