The identity of the dismembered body was found in Mughda, the deceased was a Saudi expatriate

The police have identified the dismembered body found in Mughda of the capital. Name of the deceased. Mokaram Mia. He was a Saudi expatriate. His cousin Rifat came to the mortuary of Dhaka Medical College on Monday afternoon and identified the body.
Mokaram is the son of Sohrab Mia of Talshahar village of Ashuganj police station in Brahmanbaria.
Rifat said, Mukarm was in Saudi Arabia for about three and a half years. Quoting his wife Jonaki Begum, he said that on the afternoon of May 13, he spoke to Mukarm at Imo. However, he did not say anything about where he was then. Since then his phone was found switched off.
Rifat also said that on May 14, he spoke with a colleague of Mokarm who was in Saudi Arabia. He said that on May 13, Mokaram left for Bangladesh. Before leaving, he left some goods with the colleague. Apart from this they could not know anything else. He said that they came to know through the police on Sunday night that Mokarm’s body is in the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. His identity is identified through fingerprints.
Deceased Mokaram has two sons. Their names are Bayjid and Mojahid. Mokaram was the eldest among three brothers and two sisters.
On Sunday, the police recovered seven parts of the headless body wrapped in polythene from Manda area of Mughdar. Later in the day and night, a severed head wrapped in polythene was recovered from Maniknagar area.
