The fight will continue until the last breath, Hezbollah warned Israel

The head of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, has announced that he will continue to fight against Israel until his last breath. On Friday (April 10) in a statement aired on the party’s own media Al-Manar TV, he announced this tough position.
In the statement, Naeem Kasem made it clear that they are not willing to go back to any previous status quo. He alleged that Israel is carrying out new attacks in violation of the ceasefire that came into force in November 2024.
The head of Hezbollah directly appealed to the powerful people of Lebanon, saying that Israel should not be given any more “free concessions” or compromises. Mentioning that they are not afraid of threats from the enemy or modern weapons, he claimed that Hezbollah is the real owner of this land.
Naim Kassem’s stern message came at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there would be no ceasefire with Lebanon for the time being. Although he signaled an open path to direct talks with Beirut, he made no promises to end the attacks.
Meanwhile, Tehran has also stated its strict stance on the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi has demanded an end to the ongoing “genocide” in Lebanon. Other Iranian officials have warned that the Israeli strikes are a gross violation of the existing ceasefire agreement.
It should be noted that on Wednesday (April 8) an airstrike near Beirut killed the personal secretary and nephew of Hezbollah leader Ali Yusuf Hershi. The Israeli military described the attack as its largest and most coordinated attack on Hezbollah since the start of the war. Basically, immediately after this incident came the announcement of Naeem Kasem to continue fighting.
