Sakshi Masrur took a picture with the accused accused of murdering blogger Abhijit and posted it on Facebook

Saidur (Shafiur) Rahman Farabi, convicted in the murder of blogger Abhijit Roy, took a picture with him on Facebook after getting bail. Masrur Anwar Chowdhury. Masroor admitted this under the cross-examination of the defense counsel.
However, in the cross-examination, Masroor A-O said that he was a member of the banned militant organization JMB, which is not true.
Masrur Anwar Chowdhury is the third witness in a case of crimes against humanity committed during the regime of the previous Awami League government in TFI cells.
He gave a statement in this case on Sunday. Masrur said in the deposition that he went missing on March 1, 2020.
Total 17 accused in this case of disappearance in TFI cell. Among them, 10 army officers are in sub-jail. Today they are present in the tribunal.
However, on December 29, 2025, Masrur denied taking a picture with Alamin, the accused in the Keraniganj madrasa bomb blast case, and posting it on Facebook. In the cross-examination of the defense lawyer Aminul Gani, he said, “This is not true”.
In the cross-examination, Masrur also said that he met Johnny in the jail. Johnny is also a victim of disappearance. His picture with Zamin may have been posted on the Goomsankart platform. However, he does not know whether Johnny is the accused in the Keraniganj madrasa bomb blast case or not.

Mahabub Alam and KM Azad; Colonel Abdullah Al Momen and Anwar Latif Khan (on preparatory leave); Lieutenant Colonel Md. Moshiur Rahman, Saiful Islam Sumon and Md. Sarwar bin Kashem.
Seven other accused in this case are absconding. They are the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her former advisor Tariq Ahmed Siddique, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, former Director General of RAB Benazir Ahmed (later became IGP), M Khurshid Hossain and Md. Haroon Or Rashid and Lieut. Colonel (Retd.) Muhammad Khairul Islam.
