Local sources and police indicated that an armed group of approximately 10 robbers entered the home. Rimon reportedly attempted to resist them alone, leading to a struggle before he was shot. The robbers then looted items from the house before fleeing.

However, Rimon offered a slightly different account to Prothom Alo, stating that his mother’s screams alerted him to at least 10 intruders in their house. He managed to force the robbers out, but as he secured the door, he was shot in the leg through a gap from outside.

Following the robbery, law enforcement officials visited the scene and have launched an investigation to recover the stolen goods and arrest other individuals involved.
