Reorganization of Biman’s Board of Directors, Chairman Rumi A Hossain

The Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been restructured. Rumi A Hossain, sponsor director of Bank Asia Plc and chairman of the board executive committee, has been appointed as the chairman of the new board.

Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism deleted on Saturday. This information was given in the notification signed by Shakila Parveen.

According to the notification, a new board of directors of 13 members has been constituted as per the relevant provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1994’ and Biman’s ‘Articles of Association’. Rumi A Hossain has been given responsibility as the chairman.
