Prothom Alo and Time Zone launch World Cup themed video series and quiz competition

As the football world braces for the upcoming World Cup, Prothom Alo and Time Zone have launched a five-part video series titled “Credence Football Genius.” The digital production aims to heighten fan engagement by spotlighting the tournament’s five primary favorites: Brazil, Argentina, France, Portugal, and Germany.
The series features analysis from Bangladesh national team stars Sheikh Morsalin and Mohammad Faisal Ahmed Fahim. Through these episodes, the players delve into the rich histories of the selected nations, dissecting their current tactical strengths and weaknesses, and evaluating their prospects of lifting the trophy.
The content is available across multiple digital platforms, including the official website credencefootballgenius.com, Prothom Alo’s online portal, and the official Facebook pages and YouTube channels of both Prothom Alo and Time Zone.
Beyond passive viewing, the initiative invites audience participation through an integrated quiz program. Viewers can test their knowledge by answering five questions per episode on the project’s website. Over the course of the series, 30 participants will be selected as winners based on their performance, with five “mega winners” receiving Credence wristwatches provided by Time Zone. The remaining 25 winners will be awarded gift vouchers.
Participation is open to Bangladeshi citizens aged 18 and older. To compete, users must register with accurate information corresponding to their national identity cards or birth certificates, as discrepancies may lead to disqualification. Participants can attempt the quiz up to three times per episode, with the highest score being recorded on the leaderboard. The final rankings will be determined by the speed and accuracy of the responses, with the competition running until July 19.
Organizers have implemented strict technical measures to ensure fairness, including a system that logs out users who navigate away from the quiz tab. All decisions made by the competition authorities regarding the selection of winners and the interpretation of rules remain final.
