A passenger bus plunged into the Padma River at the Daulatdia ferry terminal in Rajbari’s Goalanda sub-district on Friday morning, marking another safety incident at the busy transit hub. The bus, operated by SB Super Deluxe, lost control while attempting to board a ferry at the terminal’s number seven berth at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Emergency responders managed to rescue both the driver and his assistant from the submerged vehicle. Authorities confirmed that no passengers were on board at the time of the accident, as they had disembarked from the vehicle before it reached the loading ramp.
