Kusik Administrator Tipu released the income-expenditure account within 28 days of assuming office

Yusuf Molla Tipu, the newly appointed administrator, highlighted the overall revenue and expenditure of the Comilla City Corporation (CUSIC) and the progress of the ongoing development projects. He published this account within 28 days of assuming office. 

He presented these information in a press conference organized at Atindramohan Roy conference room of Comilla City Corporation on Sunday (April 12).

At this time, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the City Corporation. Mamun, Executive Engineer Abu Sayem Bhuiyan and other officials were present.

In the press conference, the administrator said that till March 15, the total income in the revenue sector was 61 crore 22 lakh 65 thousand 664 taka and expenditure was 37 crore 93 lakh 16 thousand 986 taka. In this, the current status stands at 23 crore 29 lakh 48 thousand 678 taka.

He said that the total amount of CIDP project is 301 crore 10 lakh 75 thousand 127 taka, under which 11 project tenders have been invited.

Besides, there is 2 crore 8 lakh 85 thousand 936 taka in LGCRRP (Covid-19) project and 34 crore 91 lakh 57 thousand 9 taka in UDCGP project.

Annual Development Program (ADP) currently stands at Tk 46 crore 76 lakh 58 thousand 210.

From this amount, tenders of Tk 41 crore 85 lakh have been invited for 109 projects.

Kusik Administrator Yusuf Molla Tipu said, “My first step is to eliminate corruption and ensure transparency and accountability.” My every action will be made clear to the townspeople.

To ensure transparency, income and expenditure information will be disclosed to Comilla residents every three months.
