A worker of Jamaat-e-Islami was killed by hammer of masked miscreants in Satkania of Chittagong. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chittagong city at around five o’clock in the morning on Monday. Before this, masked miscreants attacked him on the side of the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway at the head of Satkaniya road on Sunday around 11:00 pm.

At that time, a group of 15 masked terrorists came there in a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw. Then he hit Shahadat on the head with a hammer. The assailants fled when the local residents came forward at his screams. He was rescued and taken to a private hospital in the upazila and later to a private hospital in the city.
